Do you want to retreat from the bustle of the modern world, at least for a day, and find refuge somewhere where time passes pleasantly slow? Come discover Kokorinsko – a beautiful region not far from Prague where you will find bizarre sandstone rocks, crystal-clear lakes and deep forests.
Kokorin region is a picturesque natural area of rocks, beautiful lakes and villages with folk architecture. It is renowned for its romantic gorges and unique sandstone towers, gates, windows and other formations that do not exist in such a form and size anywhere else in the Czech Republic. It mostly consists of sandstone blocks with towers that here and there form spectacular rock towns. You may come across deep gorges, rock caverns and overhangs, and romantic forest pools with water lilies and picturesque timbered house. The Kokorinsky Dul is one of the most picturesque valleys in the Czech Republic. It is a place where numerous canyons meet, and it is distinctive thanks to various sandstone formations as well.
The hiking tour will cover 15 km and providing the best overview of Kokorin valley a beautiful region not far from Prague and takes around 5 hours to complete. This hike takes in the amazing rock formations and mushrooms shaped pillars of Poklicky and allows you the opportunity to deeply connect with the energy of the forest you will travel through.
Our next stop is lunch, of course! We will treat you with a main course and a drink – included in your trip – at a traditional restaurant, with time to enjoy the best local beers and micro-brews.

Also we will be ensuring your safety and welfare during the hike and the entire trip, as well as helping you with any translations needed when ordering lunch or buying gifts. Most importantly, however, we will be guiding you through this remarkable countryside and offering you the most unique experience.
We will meet in the morning at the departure point in Prague, going to Melnik, and come back to Prague, filled with experiences, in the evening, just in time for dinner.
