Our retreats are unique packages that include hiking in combination with yoga and meditation. These are packages for 3 days or more that can be customised to group needs and include attending an amazing retreat in a stunning mountain setting that can include daily yoga, meditation classes and guided hikes! We believe this combination of yoga exercise that will help stretch your muscles after a day’s trip, coupled with meditation will be deeply relaxing and combat the stress that many of us experience in our daily lives. It will also contribute greatly to a deeply rested stay. The added dimension of taking long hikes allows for an even greater sense of well-being and brings you closer to nature, while being well taken care of in comfortable accommodation in a countryside setting with lovely panoramic views, all of which can offer you the ideal holiday, whether you are a regular yoga practitioner or a complete novice who has never done yoga or meditation before.
As our hiking retreats will offer intermediate guided hikes which will take four to seven hours (including comfort breaks), you are advised to have basic fitness level, where you have been typically doing some sort of cardio or endurance sports for at least one hour per week and have no serious knee injuries. These hikes, however, start out as easier hikes, coupled with an introductory warm-up, and then increase in difficulty to meet the group’s requirements. Please note that attendance on these hikes is optional. Instead you may choose to go on a self-guided hike, in which case you will be provided with maps and a choice of routes. Fancy a day just chilling out and enjoying what the local countryside has to offer, that’s perfectly fine too.
