The Romantic Lusatian Mountains are among the gems of our mountains. The scenic landscape of the Lusatian Mountains is little affected by the development of human activity and can therefore be rightly called a true paradise for lovers of virgin nature and tranquillity. Located between the towns of Děčín and Liberec and a declared Protected Natural Area, this nature preserve is one of the triumphs of the Lusatian Mountains.
We will travel by train to the destination of Lvova for our starting point, not far from the romantic medieval Lemberk Castle. Today Lemberk Castle represents early Gothic, late Renaissance and early Baroque or Classicist style of architecture. The castle was home to the canonized Zdislava, known for her kindness and her healing skills. Here we will find her room, and located underneath the castle is Zdislava’s well which, according to legend, its miraculous healing water helped many people with eye diseases.
Next stop is lunch, of course! We will treat you with a main course and a drink – included in your trip – at a traditional restaurant, with time to enjoy the best local beers and micro-brews.
After lunch we will continue with our hike through the Lusatian Mountains. During our journey we will find many wonderful hiking trails and see high peaks, such as Horni Sedlo, Pod Vranimi skalami, Pod Loupeznickym vrchem, Pod Lisci horou, Polesi, Pekaruv kriz, Krasny dul, as well as the village of Petrovice and other settlements that offer up fine examples of the folk architecture of the region. The length of this moderate hike varies between 10 km to 18 km and will be tailored according the needs of the group.

Our guests can expect a lot of individual attention with advice on clothing, weather, what to pack, as well as fitness levels prior to the trip. Also we will be ensuring your safety and welfare during the hike and the entire trip, as well as helping you with any translations needed when ordering lunch or buying gifts. We will commence our journey in the morning from our meeting point in Prague and come back with many wonderful experiences in the evening, just in time for dinner.
