Description:

Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic and one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Located on the Vltava River, Prague is full of historical monuments, stunning buildings and beautiful architecture. There are many places to discover in this beautiful metropolis. One of the most important sights is Prague Castle, which is located on a hill above the Vltava River. It is the largest castle in the world and is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Inside the castle there are many buildings and palaces such as St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, Lobkowicz Palace, the New Royal Palace and others.

Another of the most important monuments is the Charles Bridge, which connects both sides of the Vltava River. The bridge was built in 1357 and is named after King Charles IV. All year round, the bridge is crowded with tourists who admire the statues of saints that are located along the entire length of the bridge. Other extraordinary sights include Old Town Square with the Astronomical Clock, the oldest surviving astronomical clock in the world, and Wenceslas Square, the largest square in Prague and the site of many cultural and social events. Prague is also known for its excellent beer and cuisine. Many pubs in the city centre offer traditional Czech food and many types of beer.

There are also several food markets in the city centre where you can sample Czech specialities and buy various types of cheese, cold cuts, sweets and other goodies. Prague is also a city of culture and art, with many museums, galleries and theatres. Among the most famous are the National Museum, the National Gallery, the Theatre Na zábradlí and the Archa Theatre.
